Job Description: The Director of Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for directing the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives for the Village Christian School community. Also, the Director will provide guidance and training to cross cultural student/parent and employee committees. This will be a full-time position, integrated with other academic and administrative responsibilities, or a part time position for the right candidate. Responsibilities: The Director of Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for the following: • Support diversity relations between home and school; • Maintain a superior-level of confidentiality and sensitivity at all times to allow many voices to be heard and unity to be realized; • Serve as the chair for the Multiculturalism Committee of faculty and as a liaison to the cultural diversity parent committees including REDI and the Korean and Chinese Parent groups. • Partner with Human Resources in our efforts to become more culturally diverse in the recruitment and retention of Staff/Faculty; • Partner with Admissions in our efforts to become more diverse in the recruitment and retention of students; • Partner/collaborate with Head of School, Principals, and the Directors of Spiritual Life and Human Resources on diversity issues that arise amongst our school community; • Work with Director of Spiritual Life, Associate Head of School for Academic Life, and Principals on developing curriculum to promote multiculturalism and unity; • Serve as the resource on diversity ini
