Job Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, plans, performs schedules and supervises maintenance, operations, grounds and safety programs. This position supervises building/grounds maintenance and custodial personnel in conjunction with the school principal. Consults with Assistant Superintendent of Business and makes recommendations regarding preventative maintenance, operational and safety needs including contracting outside service vendors.

Required: Equivalent to the completion of an associate's degree, supplemented by advanced training or coursework in organization, supervision and operational management. Five years of experience in the general field of building/grounds maintenance, custodial and/or construction, at least three (3) of those years in a supervisory capacity. Desired: • School district experience • Ability to read blue prints • Ability to obtain appropriate certificates (i.e., asbestos, lead, etc.)
