High School Teacher Moreau Catholic High School is currently seeking a science teacher beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. Located in Hayward, California, Moreau Catholic is a diverse, college preparatory community with approximately 830 students. We strongly believe in the importance of a holistic education providing students the opportunity to grow in academic, social and spiritual learning experiences. Candidates should currently possess a California Teaching Credential and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree. The successful candidate will: • Maintain high standards of student performance, and engage students using a variety of pedagogical methods. • Demonstrate and promote the responsible use of technology as a learning tool • Provide help for students outside of class time. • Have the ability to thrive in a team environment • Establish a learning environment where every student’s right to learn is respected. We offer a very competitive salary and excellent benefits package with an additional stipend for a master’s and/or doctorate degree. Placement on the certificated salary schedule is based on education and teaching experience.
