SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the principal, the Athletic Director exercises oversight regarding all middle school athletics and related programs on and off campus. The Athletic Director promotes and conducts athletic/physical education in a manner which furthers the aims of general education. The Athletic establishes and promotes professional relationships with other schools, the community, the staff, students and parents. The Athletic Director works in close proximity and coordinates procedures with the WRHS and Carey Athletic Directors. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a bachelor's degree or higher. Hold a valid Teaching Certificate or hold a degree with a major or minor in physical education or equivalent hours and courses in coaching theory preferred. Previous athletic coaching or athletic director experience preferred. Experience and/or training in physical education, first-aid, CPR preferred.
