Family Liaison Duties: The Family Liaison is the “Voice of Inspire.” They are the “First Responders” to anything relating to our homeschool families and the many different departments that serves our parents and students. They have an enormous desire to serve and do whatever it takes to cultivate a heart of collaboration and unity within our entire school family. Bridge Builder--Builds bridges through all Heartland departments as a collaborator, problem solver, and mediator through having a positive attitude, always thinking the best, and being a good listener. Teachers--Develop a relationship with the teachers in your region. Helps to train new teachers organically at park days and events and structurally at regional meetings and professional development in-services in areas such as curriculum, the educational value of daily homeschool life, interest-led learning, philosophies, and more. Field Trips--Plans multiple field trips with teachers and parents. Supports already planned field trips on a monthly basis for the region. Facilitates sign-ups, collects payment, finds lead person, helps with vendor relationship, provides payment, ensures IF balances, and more. Regional Events--Assists all regional groups in planning/facilitating large events. Assists in planning/facilitating small events for your regional group. Annual Events--Attends and helps as needed with End of Year events, Back to School, and Vendor Fairs. CTE Pathways--support the career exploration program for students Surveys--Access to general inquiries via surveys. Calls or emails new families that fill out the Interest Survey for their region. Social Media--Monitors and answers questions/comments on all Facebook groups and pages and other social media in their region along with other Administrators. Posts weekly about upcoming events on official Heartland sites. Monthly Newsletter--Creates a monthly newsletter for parents and finds new families to be featured on upcoming newsletters. Vendors--Cultivates a friendly, helpful relationship with vendors. Helps teachers/families with vendor approval and invites vendors to join our Vendor Fairs. Enrichment--Cultivates a friendly, helpful relationship with the Enrichment Dept. Helps teachers/families with questionable items to find educational value and aid in lessons. Enrollment--Cultivates a friendly, helpful relationship with the Enrollment Dept. Helps teachers/families with smooth enrollment. Upon hire, the applicant would need to provide proof of TB clearance and DOJ fingerprint clearance (Live Scan).
