Credentialed School Nurse PCN# 4223 Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and in cooperation with the District Nurse, site administration, state and local health agencies, the school nurse coordinates and manages health care, delivers health services to students/staff, conducts mandatory screening, i.e. vision, hearing, dental, etc.; acts as an advocate for the health rights of children; is a counselor for the health concerns of children, families, and staff; and is an educator for school/community health concerns
