The Chawanakee Unified School District is within a 30-minute drive of Fresno, Madera, and Merced. We are located in Eastern Madera County, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. The district encompasses the communities of North Fork, O’Neals, Tesoro Viejo, and Millerton Preserve.
