***SIGN ON BONUS INCLUDED! The School of Arts and Enterprise is currently recruiting for a 8th Grade Certificated Math Teacher. The SAE provides a comprehensive salary and benefit package to include reimbursement of year two (2) of the BTSA/Induction program. This position also includes a $5000 sign on bonus! All areas of the application including most recent work history must be included or the application will not be considered.

The School of Arts & Enterprise (SAE) is seeking dynamic educators to join an expanding team that is making an important difference in the lives of their students and community. The School of Arts & Enterprise will open its doors in Downtown Pomona in 2003.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a positive role model
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents
• Coordinate and implement meaningful, engaging curriculum
• Be an active participant in maintaining the school
• Inspire, counsel, and instruct students to facilitate academic success
• Work collaboratively with educators from across the curriculum in project management and curriculum development
Qualifications
• Hold a current California Teaching Credential or Equivalent
• Be familiar with Project Based Learning and other innovative instructional strategies
• Be passionate about working with students and families
• Be excited about working collaboratively in a team-based educational environment
• Be dedicated to the idea that public education can be innovative, creative, inspiring, and successful
• Be willing to engage in school matters beyond the classroom environment

The School of Arts and Enterprise was founded by a coalition of parents, teachers, universities, artists, and citizens from the Pomona area. The SAE is a direct charter from the State of California and is a collaborative effort between the Pomona Arts Colony, The Haven Gallery System, CSULA Charter College of Education, Cal Poly Pomona, Western University, Pomona College, and the National Council of La Raza

The School of Arts and Enterprise (The SAE), a public Charter School. The SAE has a passion for academics and the arts; a high school and middle school that has a distinguished history of producing talented, creative individuals who pursue life with a fervent desire to make a difference; a high school established in 2003 that was the first visual and performing high school in Pomona, California.
