Job Summary

Job Summary

The job of Behavior Specialist is done for the purpose(s) of providing behavior analysis and behavior management plans for Special Education students; provide support and training to school site staff, instructional aides and parents/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques; conducts assessments and develops plans that conform to IDEA and the California Education Code.

Requirements / Qualifications

Open and Competitive - 40 hours/week Basic & Skills Exams - To be determined Panel Interview - To be determined * Cover Letter * Resume * Three (3) Letters of Recommendation – permanent classified employees applying for a promotion do not need to submit letters of recommendation * Any of the following: Pupil Personnel Services Credential , Behavior Intervention Case Manager Certification (BICM), Applied Behavior Analysis Certification (ABA). * Current CA Driver's License

One (1) reference on your application must be from a past/present supervisor.
