Requirements / Qualifications
Required Experience must be in a public school setting: • Eight years of successful full-time public school district certificated service • A minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in a K-12 program • A minimum of two years of experience in an elementary school • Two years of service in a position that required and utilized an administrative credential, such as assistant principal or equivalent position Minimum Requirements include: • A valid California teaching credential requiring a Bachelor's degree and a program of professional preparation, including student teaching • A valid California Administrative Services Credential • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university • District Master Plan requirements* • Multicultural coursework*
Application Procedure: To be considered, you must submit the following: 1. Letter of Intent that describes successful experience in the following areas on a single-side page(s): - Providing instructional leadership which influenced student outcomes for various subgroups of students - Utilizing data to make informed decisions related to an instructional program - Developing and leading professional development for instructional staff - Partnering with diverse communities or parent groups to increase parent engagement 2. Current resume (include employee number, if a District employee) 3. A list of three (3) professional references, with their contact information, including your current administrator and direct supervisor

Clover Elementary is a National Blue-Ribbon school and serves about 540 students in grades TK-5th grade, including a Resource Specialist program and many enrichment classes funded by the parent booster group. Clover has a student body comprised of 4.3% African American, 31.5% Asian, 20.9% Hispanic, 28.9% White, 1.7% Filipino and 12.7% two or more/other ethnicities. Approximately 11% are English Learners, 5% Students with Disabilities and over 16% are identified as Gifted and Talented. The school is located at 11020 Clover Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90034 and is an active part of the larger Pacific West Community of Schools in Local District West.
