Chabad Hebrew Academy K-8 Principal Chabad Hebrew Academy, an Infant-8 school in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of San Diego, serves 300 students on an award-winning 27-acre campus designed for and by teachers and children. CHA seeks a charismatic, results-oriented and proven K-8 Principal with a passion for education and student success to focus on excellence in education and individualized education. The Principal serves as the schools Principal Educator/COO RESPONSIBILITIES: The Principal is responsible for implementing the mission, vision, and philosophy of CHA, and for executing the educational plans and policies of the Head of School. 1. 1. • He/she will be responsible for ensuring that CHA’s education is on par with the top local public and independent schools. • Discipline will be overseen by the school’s principal. .• He/she will supervise the professional development of the faculty and staff. • The effective communication of CHA’s academic mission and vision to the faculty, students, parents, administration, and the wider community is the responsibility of the Principal. 

3. ENVIRONMENT • The Principal is the educational leader of the school community. • He/she will ensure an environment of trust, cooperation, and respect conducive to personal, professional, spiritual, and academic growth. • He/she will ensure that the schools overall environment, curriculum and faculty convey a weltschaung of ethical/Judaic values including professional dress and conduct. • The Principal is the primary educational voice of the school and responsible for parent • The Principal represents the school to the broader community. • In conjunction with The Head of School, The Principal will develop, review, and periodically revise the short and long-range plans of CHA. • The Principal shall advise The Head of School on the operation and development of CHA.
