Knowledge of:

* Community resources and capcity to develope communitycooperation to ensure that families receive comprehensive services

* Current Head Start performance standards

* Computersoftware including word processing, and databases such as ChildPls

Education/Experience/Certification:

Atypical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outline above is graduation from a recognized four-year college or university with a major in social work or a closely related field. Additional requirements include:

• Experience working with families in a community-based Head Start or family support/resoure program
• Experience working with children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking, reading, and writting required
