Requirements / Qualifications

A valid California Education Specialist Instruction: Mild/Moderate Disabilities Credential with Autism Authorization and an English Learner (EL) authorization are required.

REQUIREMENTS: A valid California Education Specialist Instruction: Mild/Moderate Disabilities Credential with Autism Authorization and an English Learner (EL) authorization or BCBA license or School Psychology Credential are required. The candidate should also have experience in the following: A solid understanding of the students’ function of behavior. Can design behavioral interventions. Can develop a Behavior Intervention Plan and coordinate and consult with school staff. Ability to analyze the success of behavioral interventions. Solid understanding and implementation of PBIS. Certificate or knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis Certified in ProAct.

Offer of employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance. There is a fee required by the Department of Justice, payable by the applicant, to process fingerprint clearance. Evidence that applicant is free from tuberculosis in accordance with Education Code 49406 is required. Proof of vaccination required upon hiring.
