Directs and coordinates the spiritual, educational, administrative, and day-to-day activities of the elementary and middle school consistent and aligned with the school mission and vision statements. Provides instructional and administrative leadership at the school site regarding curriculum, budget, school operations, staff, students and their families. Participates in the formulation of the organization’s policies and provides a link between the school, its families, Water of Life Community Church (WOLCC) and the larger community. Possess knowledge of the challenges facing Christian school leaders. Articulate and support the mission, goals, and policies of WOLCC and WOLCS. Model clear expectations and motivate others to achieve high levels of performance. Keep abreast of changes and developments in the profession by attending professional meetings and reading professional journals. Promote communication between the staff and School Board. Identify needs for recruiting and dismissal of personnel and make appropriate recommendations to the School Board when applicable. Lead regular staff meetings. Oversee the development and evaluation of curriculum, educational resources and assessment tools consistent with the school’s Christian philosophy, ensuring alignment with and implementation of best instructional practices. Analyze and interpret multiple data sources to inform grade-level improvement efforts and assist staff in using data to guide, modify and improve classroom teaching and learning. Lead the accreditation review process every three years and assist the staff in implementing the school’s improvement goals outlined in its accreditation documents. Oversee all achievement and standardized testing. Including duties pertaining to Supervision and Evaluation of Personnel, Communication, Interaction with the School Board, Planning and Monitoring School Finances, etc. Beginning for school year 2022-23.
