Job Summary
PUENTE Charter School is seeking a committed instructor who will provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them to develop their skills and encourage an interest in learning. This role will report to the Dean role and work with the School’s team of early education professionals. The qualified candidate will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational plan that aligns with the Common Core Standards and ELD Framework.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must possess a clear California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and English Learner certification.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Technology literate and comfortable incorporating technology into an instructional program.
- Bilingual, English-Spanish, candidates are preferred.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of full-time teacher experience in early childhood environments.
- Experience in working collaboratively with parents/guardians in parent-participation projects.
