Job Summary
Under supervision of the site administrator and direction of the Head of Plant, the Custodian I performs routine cleaning tasks in an assigned area, such as sweeping, polishing, vacuuming, waxing, moving and rearranging furniture and equipment. Custodian I employees usually work alone at job sites.

Ukiah Unified School District offers the following Benefits to contracted employees:
• 5% Annual Salary Increase (Steps 1 – 9)
• Longevity Pay (Years: 10, 15, 20, 25, & 30)
• Health and Welfare ($7,206/Yr. for employees contracted 4+ hrs./day)
• Paid Sick Leave (1 day for each month worked)
• Paid Vacation (8-18 days/Yr. depending on years of district service; paid as part of contract)
• Paid Holidays: 13 days per year (See School Calendar)
• Retirement plan contributions
