Requirements / Qualifications
A teaching position at Quest is a full-time, salaried, 10-month position. Ideal candidates will have the following education, experience, and qualities: • Resume . Transcripts/Degree . B.A./B.S. or M.A. degree in teaching from an accredited institution. Be eligible for, or possess Nevada certification in teaching and meet any additional professional teacher education requirements of the school, district, and state • Two or more years of teaching experience as an elementary or middle school teacher preferred • If selected, must be able to provide CPR/AED card.Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted

The teacher will implement into daily student instruction appropriate educational curriculum based on the SPCSA State Standards and the Quest Preparatory Academy Curriculum.
The teacher will create and maintain an educational atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports Quest Preparatory Academy programs and goals. This person will be expected to adhere to the Quest Preparatory Academy Professional Domains and SPCSA Standards for Licensed Employees and report directly to the school site administrator.
