Job Summary
Serves as the administrator and instructional leader at Stone Ridge Academy (SRA); establishes and maintains educational programs in compliance with SRA and Multiple District objectives; directs the operations of the school site; establishes and maintains a positive school climate for the learning, behavior, safety, health, ad welfare of students’ behavior, safety, health, and welfare of students and personnel. Additionally, under general supervision of the executive director will administer a non-public school in delegating functions which may include development of a Master Class Schedule, evaluation and supervision of the school curriculum and instruction program, coordination, and supervision of student activities, and other related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Higher in education or a closely related field, valid CA teaching credential, CA Administrative Service Credential, Bilingual in Spanish preferred, Minimum 2 years teaching experience, training in applied behavior analysis and experience with functional, community-based curriculum, organization time management skills, proficiency in Excel, word, outlook, using in a professional capacity, shared view of school's mission, evidence of compliance under the (NCLB), preference will be given to individuals with classroom experience in working directly with students exhibiting a variety of special education disabilities.
