Requirements / Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. Under general supervision, operate a school bus or other passenger vehicle over designated routes within established time schedule; perform daily and weekly inspections of a bus or transportation equipment; perform simple bus maintenance, as required. Possession of a Valid Class B License, First Aid Certificate. CA Motor Vehicle Operators license, acceptable driving record, and possession of School Bus Drivers Certificate by CA Highway Patrol. One (1) year experience in transporting students or satisfactory completion of a formal classroom and behind-the-wheel training program by the California Highway Patrol for the operation of a school bus
