Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Requirements for ECE Paraeducator positions under the Federal Head Start Program; consisting of: High School Diploma or equivalent and a California Associate Teacher Permit (Referred by Federal head Start as “Child Development Associate Credential”) or Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Requires one year of experience in a preschool age enrichment program or child care setting. LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: May require a valid driver’s license.
