Job Summary
Job Summary
RSP Under the supervision of the site administrator to provide an individualized education program for identified special education students, as well as designated “at-risk” students, to meet their academic and social needs. SDC Under direction, to teach and instruct handicapped pupils in multiple grade levels in academic, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; to plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive individualized educational and remedial program for handicapped pupils; to assist special day class pupils in making an appropriate adjustment to a mainstreamed educational process, requiring an increased level of independence; and to do other related functions as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Education Specialist Instruction Credential with an authorization in Mild/Moderate by July 1, 2019. * BCLAD or CLAD certified. * Intern applicants will be considered.

Upon offer of employment, individuals will need to complete an application for a criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice and FBI. Authorization to employ cannot be granted according to state law until the criminal background clearance from DOJ/FBI has been received.
