The Governing Board is seeking a Superintendent to provide leadership in operating the educational programs offered by Tri-Cities Regional Occupational Program. The Superintendent is an integral part of the educational community who carries forward the commitment to provide quality career-technical education training and services. Well-qualified candidates with proven records as strong educational leaders with experience in career and technical education programs and budgeting skills are encouraged to apply. The Superintendent prepares and presents the annual budget, periodic financial reports, and long-range fiscal analysis to the Governing Board. He/She secures appropriate insurance coverage and coordinates the risk management program. He/She will prepare mandated governmental agency reports, including the annual audit. The Superintendent will evaluate potential additional funding through federal, state, and local grants, and will be responsible for writing and submitting applications for the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant and the K12 Strong Workforce Grant. The Superintendent attends Governing Board meetings and communicates with member districts and the community regarding administrative issues.
