BRAWLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTION CLASS TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Superintendent/designee, plan, organize, coordinate and implement the day-to-day operations and activities of the Human Resources department; provide consultation and technical expertise to administrators, supervisors and personnel concerning human resources programs, functions, policies and procedures; train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: ? Plan, organize, coordinate and implement the day-to-day operations and activities of the Human Resources department; assure, District Wide activities comply with established District, federal and State personnel standards, policies and procedures. ? Provide consultation and technical expertise to District administrators, supervisors and personnel concerning Human Resources operations, programs and related functions; respond to inquiries, resolve issues and conflicts and provide detailed and technical information concerning employee discipline, benefits, wages, status, transfers, grievances, appeals and related policies and procedures. ? Oversee the human resources aspects of the Benefits and Workers' Compensation programs; coordinate related activities with District Business personnel. ? Train and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; recommend transfers, reassignment, termination and disciplinary actions; assign employee duties and review work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established policies and procedures. ? Monitor and evaluate personnel operations, policies and procedures for effectiveness and operational efficiency; provide recommendations concerning the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness and operational efficiency of the Department. ?
