Job Summary

Transition program teachers work with individuals between the ages of 18-22 across Education/Training, Community, Vocational, and Independent domains. Teachers will provide young adults with disabilities both classroom instruction and community-based educational opportunities to enhance and promote independent life skills. A Moderate/Severe credential is required for this position. PUSD will also accept applicants who can provide a letter from their university stating that they are eligible for an internship. The "Intern Eligible" document must be uploaded in the Ed Join attachments.

1. Copy of California Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching Credential. Applicants who possess "Intern Eligibility" documentation from their university are eligible to apply. The "Intern Eligible" document must be uploaded in the "Attachments" in Ed Join. 2. Current Resume 3. Current Copy of Transcripts 4. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months. It is recommended that at least one (1) come from a supervising administrator. 5. Letter of Intent addressed to Brian Morris, Director of Human Resources
