Job Summary
Job Summary
The Chief, Equity and Access is responsible for bringing instructional and curriculum support, as well as school wide strategies focused on equity and social justice to students of all racial, ethnic, language, socio-economic and sexual identity groups. The Chief, Equity and Access works with teachers, principals and other key stakeholders to support equity and access in every classroom, and schoolwide. The Chief, Equity and Access builds strong relationships with the school community to support inclusive, sustainable, long-term improvement. The Chief, Equity and Access will provide and build school staff ability to use data effectively understand challenges, recognizes change or improvement, and sustain successes in equity, access, and social justice for all students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •Possession of a Master’s degree in Education, Equity and Social Justice, or a related field, from an accredited college or university; •Possession of a valid California Administrative Services credential; •Possession of a valid California Teaching credential; •Three (3) years of professional experience in designing, coaching, delivering high-quality culturally responsive curriculum and instructional support to educators, administrators and/or principals in an educational setting, including working with diverse populations in equity, diversity, and cultural initiatives and/or programs and underrepresented student populations. Experience must include one (1) year experience as a site administrator. • Experience participating in school and district curriculum development and professional development planning and implementation.
