Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Adult Education Teaching Credential, California Standard Elementary Teaching Credential or California Standards Secondary Education Teaching Credential. Preferred: Experience in providing one-on-one support and guidance to assist adults to meet educational and career goals. Also preferred, Spanish language proficiency. The Adult Education Transition Specialist provides guidance and assistance for students in the English as a Second Language (ESL), High School Diploma, High School Equivalency and Adult Basic Skills Programs to facilitate the achievement of their career and academic goals. This position functions in a supportive and collaborative role with the 5 adult schools and 4 community colleges in the South Bay Consortium for Adult Education (SBCAE).
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Adult Education Teaching Credential, California Standard Elementary Teaching Credential or California Standards Secondary Education Teaching Credential.
