St. John the Baptist Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our yard duty staff for the 2019-20 school year. This is a part-time position that involves working with the entire student population and faculty. Position: Yard Duty Staff Job Specifications • Monday – Friday • 17.5 hours/week • 9:30 am – 1:00 pm • $13/hr Job Description • Work directly with the Dean of Students • Supervise students during morning and lunch recesses • Maintain a safe and encouraging recess environment for all students • Enforce all playground and gym rules and policies • Perform clerical work throughout the school inbetween morning and lunch recesses Job Requirements • Appropriate health verification and satisfactory background check Other Qualifications • Commitment to the school mission and philosophy • Work as a team with school faculty and staff • Ability to engage children safely and earn their trust • Demonstrate a great love for, and patience with, children
