Job Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of School and Family Support Services, the Coordinator of School and Family Support provides leadership for planning and coordinating the District’s pupil services which includes health services and child welfare and attendance. The Coordinator will provide reports as directed by the Director. The Coordinator of School and Family Support Services additionally coordinates the following procedures: enrollment, permits, alternative educational opportunities and student discipline.

Please read job description. Minimum Qualifications Possession of or eligible for a California Administrative Credential. Pupil Personnel Services in Child Welfare and Attendance Credential/ACSA Certificate is desirable. Master’s Degree (or higher) in administration, pupil personnel services, counseling and guidance, social work, or closely related field. Minimum of three years of successful experience in an administrative or district level position and a minimum of three years experience as a teacher, school nurse, school counselor, school psychologist or program specialist. A valid California Driver’s License and the use of an insured automobile.
Selection Process The qualifications of each applicant will be evaluated in a multi-step process using specific criteria. The adopted criteria will be utilized during the application screening, interviewing and final decision making process. After the application screening is completed, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Director of School and Family Support Services will determine those candidates to be interviewed. Interviews will be conducted in late July to early August, and finalists may be invited to return for an additional interview with the Superintendent and Board Member(s). The successful candidate will assume his/her position as soon as qualified candidate is selected. Salary and Contract Terms The Culver City Unified School District is offering a salary ranging from $116,183.65 to $135,917.79 for a 225 work day year. Salary depends upon the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. In addition to the base salary, the District pays $2000 for a doctorate degree, a mileage stipend, and offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and their families, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
