Hemet Unified School District is one of the largest geographic areas of any district in California. It covers over 650 square miles of very diverse topography; from valley flatlands to foothills to mountains. It serves a growing community with a current enrollment of nearly 21,000 students. Moving forward, all applicants interested in a classified position requiring a skills assessment must take and pass the new skills assessment. REQUIRED ASSESSMENT: ALL applicants MUST pass the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) assessment in order to be considered for this position. The NCLB assessment consists of two portions; Math and Language Arts. All candidates must pass BOTH portions in order to be considered for this position. Applicants who have acquired valid NCLB (Language Arts & Math) scores on or after 7/1/16 do NOT need to retake the assessments. This will be the ONLY testing notification. Applicants who need to take the assessment will NOT receive a phone call or email invitation. Simply arrive to the testing location on the scheduled testing date (stated above) and bring a photo ID. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Please plan a minimum of 2.75 hours for testing and test preparation. All candidates who do not qualify for an assessment waiver must pass BOTH portions in order to be considered for this position.
