The Glendale Unified School District is seeking motivated BBS Associate RS Counselor interns who are ready to join a professional treatment team to deliver school based Mental Health Counseling Services to students. Under general supervision of the Executive Director of the Special Education Department, the BBS Associate RS Counselor delivers School Based Mental Health counseling services to emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children toward the goal of achieving higher functioning in interpersonal relations and learning in accordance with applicable professional licensing and educational laws, and performs related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
A current registration number as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science. A copy of the required registration number must be submitted with the application at the time of filing. A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation to carry out job-related essential functions. A copy of current Professional Liability Insurance. A copy of National Provider Identifier.
