This position is responsible for providing support to the XL Site Director in their efforts to provide a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for students during the afterschool hours at their assigned site.

Educational Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree is preferred** • High School diploma plus: o Meet NCLB Paraprofessional certification requirements Experience Requirements: • Minimum of two years of experience working with high school age youth is desirable **Equivalent knowledge and experience may substitute**
- NCLB Compliance (Please submit verification of one of the following: 48 or more completed college units (transcripts) or verification of an A.A./A.S. degree (or higher) or proof of passage of the Instructional Aide Assessment (NCLB) exam )

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older • Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check • Must receive TB clearance • Must pass pre-employment drug screening • Must have a valid California Driver License • Proof of auto insurance coverage • Must be able to travel between sites and administrative office or other locations • Must be willing to work some weekends when staff development or other activities are scheduled.
