Requirements / Qualifications

Job Purpose Statement: Under general supervision of the Executive Director and direct supervision of the Site Supervisor, performs moderately complex and responsible record keeping; audits of client bills and calendars; audits of student attendance; coordination and monitoring of student and family forms; and assist in the processing and monitoring of client bills and financial transactions. The El Dorado County Office of Education, a recognized leader in providing high-quality educational programs, is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a full-time Account Facilitator for our Extended Day program. The successful candidate will support the program through effective office operations and collaborative relationships. Duties include but are not limited to data entry, billing/collection, fiscal information/reporting, account research, spreadsheets, and correspondence. The Charter Extended Day program provides safe, high-quality, and affordable childcare to students in grades K-8, enrolled in and attending an El Dorado County public school. The Extended Day program is known and respected for the quality of its childcare program, which includes strong relationships among staff, students, and families in a welcoming, positive school culture. We operate 23 programs at school sites across the county and serve over 2500 students. The accounting staff processes a high volume of client and staff paperwork; manages online billing accounts; creates reports; and is a part of a collaborative administrative team.

Experience Required: Prior job related experience maintaining financial and statistical records. Experience in a school setting preferred. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Post high school training preferred.
