Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of the Director/Coordinator of Assessment, candidate will perform technical and support duties related to the district assessment and accountability program; maintain the district’s student achievement databases, including links to the district’s student information system; maintain the Assessment Department’s Internet site and server software; provide assistance in test document preparation, processing, analysis, and reporting; collect, enter and organize test data; provide training to support assessment analysis; operate computers and other office equipment. Candidate will help with additional data gathering and analysis for Title I schools and for MTSS-B study. Education and experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school, plus related college courses or practical experience in computer applications and report preparation. Must have sufficient background and experience with computers to perform necessary functions related to scoring/processing/reporting, as well as a general familiarity with assessment tools and techniques. Must also have a general awareness of statistical reporting procedures, and at least two years of increasingly responsible technical experience involving public contact. A candidate with expert ability using data software such as Access and Aeries is preferred. Candidate should also be able to link results from these and other data systems to other communication systems such as Microsoft Word using the Mail Merge function. Expertise in the use of school-based data decision support systems such as School City is also preferred.
