White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. ** Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. ** Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. ** Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. ** Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting. ** Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

CERTIFICATED POSITION: • Castle Rock Elementary School – Grades 3-5 • Beginning Salary Range: As per WUTA Salary Schedule; final placement determined upon receipt of official sealed transcripts and verification of prior contracted teaching experience. • Number of Annual Work Days: 7.5 hours per day/185 days per year • Health Benefit Package as Identified in Contract • 2019/2020 School Year
Requirements / Qualifications
• Valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; • Strong early literacy background and communication skills preferred; • Understanding of state standards. Guided reading and close reading strategies preferred; • Google for Education tools experience a preferred; • Expertise in guided and close reading strategies. • Willing to work in a collaborative environment with support from staff and administration. • Small group instruction and data collection. • Willingness to learn and use different intervention programs. • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
