Knowledge of rules and regulations of sport; Successful high school coaching experience or active participation in sport preferred; Ability to meet with team each day and weekends during season of sport; Knowledge of: care and prevention of sports injuries, coaching techniques and child or adolescent psychology; Demonstrated ability to work in a multiethnic setting; Demonstrated ability to instill teamwork, commitment and discipline. Meet CIF and District requirements for coaching certification including completion of the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course within the required time.
