Requirements / Qualifications

Napa Valley Unified School District has a 1.0 FTE Math opening at Silverado Middle School. Experience and/or willingness to work with a diverse population and incorporate inquiry-based learning is desirable. Candidate must be familiar with or willing to learn how to analyze student performance data to improve instruction. Silverado Middle School uses professional learning communities (PLCs); therefore candidates must be dedicated to growing professionally and collaborating with peers to establish a student-centered learning environment. Candidate must be willing to collaborate with peers on common assessments and sharing and learning best practices. Candidates must hold a Math credential or be eligible for an Emergency Math permit while working on earning a Math credential.
