POSITION SUMMARY: Based on a combination of assigned tasks and responsibilities per the needs of the school, the speech and language pathologist is responsible for evaluating students (TK-12), developing speech and language plans for rehabilitative care within various public education settings, and/or providing speech and language services to students. The speech and language pathologist is participating in individualized education plans (IEP) meetings, consulting with IEP teams, with school staff at the general education level and participating in the RtI/SST process and/or conducting IEP compliance reviews. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: -Possess appropriate speech and language license by the State Department and specialist credential -Minimum of two years or more successful experience preferred in speech and language practice within a public school setting, including practice in assessment and therapy skills appropriate for the needs of a varied student population ADDITIONAL OFFERINGS: - Competitive salary - 5% of annual salary as a recruitment supplement (Recruitment supplement between $3,825 - $4,590 dependent upon salary) - School issued Macbook/computer and mifi - Stipends for cell/internet, supplies and mileage - Flexible scheduling - Possible virtual work - Paid subscription for unlimited yearly CEU access - Part time or full time employment options - Health benefit or cash in lieu options
