St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is seeking a full-time 5th grade teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. An eligible candidate should be a practicing Catholic and hold a CA teaching credential or Master's degree. The position requires creativity and planning. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in all areas of instruction, especially Common Core Math and Next Generation Science Standards. The teacher will be expected to teach a range of students, from remedial to accelerated.
