Sherwood Montessori is seeking a 1:1 classroom aide to support a child with special needs. This individual should be comfortable working with children with special needs. The ideal candidate is pursuing a professional career with children and has completed some units of higher educational study towards this goal. Familiarity with Montessori education is preferred, openness towards alternative education is required. Kindness, patience, and the ability to model appropriate, expected behavior at all times is essential. Requirements: Available to work M-F 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. with a forty-five minute unpaid lunch Total hours=28.75/week
