MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general direction of the Director of Special Education, in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary school team assesses and reports on the educational needs of referred students that may include the areas of perceptual-motor skills, motor coordination, self-care, sensory development, muscle strength, range of motion, postural reflexes, and vocational skills that may impact educational progress. Provides consultation and/or direct services to eligible students with disabling conditions in grades TK through grade 8 and completes annual and triennial reviews of enrolled students with IEPs. Develops and provides direct intervention and/or consultation services for eligible students aimed at improving identified areas of needs as they relate to the student’s education as outlined in individual IEPs.

B.A., Current American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Registration. Previous experience in working as a registered OT, within school setting preferred
