Job Summary
Job Summary
LACOE is seeking highly qualified individuals, who will use their technical skills to design and develop data modeling processes, and provide technical support for the organization's Business Enhancement System Transformation (BEST) project. The BEST project is a system modernization for LACOE and more than 125 agencies, including school districts, community colleges, charter schools, and joint powers authorities. Qualified individuals will use their technical skills in databases, data queries, data mining, data acquisition, and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) strategies and tools to design and develop data models that will support for the BEST enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree with major coursework in computer science, data science, management information system, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, including data mining, ETL, and BI. Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required.
