As a substitute Instructional Associate you will be responsible for providing support to San José Unified students in a special education classroom setting. With 41 school sites and programs from preschool through post-secondary, we have a variety of opportunities for you to support student learning. We have both day-to-day roles, as well as a limited number of long-term substitute opportunities.
Requirements / Qualifications
The impact you will have: As a substitute Instructional Associate you will be responsible for providing support to San José Unified students in a special education classroom setting. With 41 school sites and programs from preschool through post-secondary, we have a variety of opportunities for you to support student learning. We have both day-to-day roles, as well as a limited number of long-term substitute opportunities. Who you are: A reliable, collaborative professional with strong communication skills who is committed to supporting our students, staff, and families. What you bring: Resume Passage of San José Unified IA test (K-12) - Ability to Assist. Proof of an Associate's degree or higher is accepted in lieu of completing the tests. Your application will be reviewed and then you may be invited to testing, which is the first step in our hiring process.
