Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of and Ability to: • Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for students. • Ability to maintain an effective and ongoing working relationship with the student(s) teachers in order to obtain instructional materials (i.e. textbooks, worksheets, tests, and course objectives) that provide for a program consistent as possible with the program available in the school setting. • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, teachers, parents, and colleagues. Experience and Education: • Possession of a valid credential authorizing service as a teacher. • Possession of a valid EL authorization.

SALARY AND TERMS The salary for the position is $43.73 per hour, on an as-needed basis. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of: • A completed certificated EDJOIN application; • An up-to-date resume; • One letter of recommendation (no more than two years old); • Proof of valid California Teaching Credential; • Proof of EL Authorization or equivalent.
