Life skills courses are the most requested classes in the facilities. We're looking for collaborative and highly motivated teachers to join our team. Our life skills instructors are in a position to immediately impact student lives through strong teaching and strengths-based pedagogy. Courses are based on school curriculum and designed to help our students prepare for post-release success. Minimum qualification: A valid California Teaching Credential (Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential, Single-subject and/or Multiple-subject credentials)

Please send all required documents: cover letter; resume; letter(s) of recommendation; copy of your Teaching Credential Documents to be collected at time of employment processing appointment: color copy of driver's license or ID; and completed (scanned) docs for LASD as described below. The actual Los Angeles Sheriff's Department (LASD) documents that need to be printed and filled out are in the Links Related to this Job section below.
