Job Summary: The Academy of Our Lady of Peace seeks a Librarian/Instructional Technology Specialist who is a service-oriented individual capable of working in a busy, private school library with a collection of materials in multiple formats for the 2019-2020 school year. Specifically, we seek an individual who has experience with library and information instruction, including technology-focused learning trends and best practices, in order to develop our instructional offerings and support teachers and students. Applicant must be well-versed in various forms and uses of technology including the use of Google for Education tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), databases, emerging learning technologies and library circulation systems. Patron services are a large part of the job, and the ability to multitask and problem-solve research, readers’ advisory requests, and solve technology issues is a must. This position also includes clerical work such as inventory of supplies, circulation desk duties, and basic library operational tasks. Applicants must show a willingness to learn about all the print and digital services of the library.
