Sunrise Middle School is a public charter middle school serving the whole child. We are seeking a full-time teacher for our fifth grade self-contained class who is passionate and committed and who is skilled in classroom management and differentiation for both advanced and traditionally underserved students. Sunrise is seeking a highly engaging teacher who loves middle school students and who knows how to make school relevant to students' lives. Experience with English Learners and special education students is preferred but not required. Candidates must: • believe in the potential of each youth; * see each student as college bound; • contribute to the creation of a school-wide culture; • build close connections with students, their families and the school community; • and, be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
