          St. Ignatius Parish School is located at 3245 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA.  The school was established in 1954 and currently employs fifty faculty and staff, with an enrollment Pre-School-8th grade of  400 students.  Classroom size ranges from 35-40 students. There will be a full time aide that will assist the teacher.  Completion of the California State and Common Core standards for first grade levels drives the curriculum. Background in teaching first grade is preferred. A strong emphasis is placed on the Catholic faith and its growth in our students and the student’s progress towards achievement of the Schoolwide Learning Expectations. The teacher is entrusted directly with the spiritual and academic preparation of students, fostering knowledge, skills, and understanding.
