The position we are looking to fill is for an AP Chemistry course (2nd period, small class with 3 students, but who all are exceptionally intelligent, analytic, and driven), two Algebra 2 courses (4th and 7th period, 10 students per class), and a paid prep period (floating). There will also be ample opportunity to pick up sub-periods as we have teachers planning on being out for paternity leave, etc.) The candidate would also have access to paid PD opportunities and a mentor teacher who has previously taught all of the above courses. Depending on performance, the candidate will potentially be in a position to fill a full-time spot for the next school year (2019-20).
