This is a part-time (19hrs. per week) position. The job entails supervising, teaching, and caring for all students in the classroom. The teacher must be able to plan and implement the lessons for each week, which are based on a letter, concept, and bible story. There is an established curriculum, but creative lesson plans and outside resources are welcome additions to the standard curriculum we teach.
Requirements: Applicant must have a minimum of 12 ECE units (early childhood education or child development) and some experience working with young children. A TB test, fingerprinting, and online training are required before the applicant may start work. First Aid/CPR training is highly recommended.
