The main responsibility of ths position is to manage the daily operations of the school and to maintain a productive teaching and learning environment for the staff and students,
Work with teachers and staff to develop and improve the instructional program of the school. Oversee teacher assignment and evaluation, course of study development, staff in-service and professional development.
Work with school counselor and teachers to maintain open communications between and among students, teachers, and parents. This involves sending notices and communications to parents and arranging for staff meetings and staff development.
Work with school Chief Financial Manager to maintain school financial operations and oversee expenditure. Coordinate wth CFM to maintain a good working relationship with FCOE.
Complete required state forms and reports and oversee implementaiton of required school proceddures and programs. Work with the school counselor to oversee the high school curriculum, schedule and activitie.
Coordinate with school counselor and office manager regarding staff meetings and parent meetings.
Work with the office manager and teachers in the ordering of all instructional materials.
Work with the office manager in overseeing the attendance accounting, the independents study packets and progress reports.
Sign and turn in all school personnel time cards and oversee all hourly positions in accordance with the budget and master schedule. Function as the HR person for certificated personnel, including placement on the salary schedue, verification of transcripts and issuing of contracts.
Function as the on site test coordinator, including ordering testing materials, supervising testing, training of staff and return of test materials.
Work with athe school counselor on any student disciplinary issues or requested parent meetings regarding school issues.
